Britta Warnke
Before joining Borealis in 2018 in the role of Director, Customer Experience & Business Intelligence, Britta Warnke occupied several international marketing, sales, and business transformation positions at Cabot Corporation, Amcor and Lufthansa in countries such as Germany, Spain, Switzerland, the US, Latvia, the UK, and Australia. In 2018, she joined Borealis in Vienna, Austria, as Director Commercial Excellence. Since August 2022, she held the position of Vice President Mobility and Advanced Products. Effective 1 September 2023, Britta Warnke has been appointed Vice President Energy.
Britta Warnke, a German citizen, holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Ulster University, Germany, a Master’s degree in Space Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences from the Open University, the United Kingdom, a Master’s degree in History from the FernUniversität in Hagen, Germany, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from VWA in Stuttgart, Germany.

Shanila BaseleySucceeding Britta Warnke as Vice President Mobility and Advanced Products is Shanila Baseley, previously Global Commercial Director Advanced Products, effective 1 September 2023. In this position, she is responsible for driving the respective businesses globally in line with Borealis’ ambitions to drive the transition from a linear to a circular economy.
Shanila Baseley joined Borealis in Vienna, Austria, in 2022 and looks back at a career at Dupont and Innovia, working in several global business management, marketing and sales, product management, and R&D (Research & Development) positions, living in the UK and Switzerland.
Shanila Baseley, a UK national, holds a Master’s degree in Instrumentation and Analytical Science from UMIST, the United Kingdom (UK), and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Glasgow Caledonian University, UK.
